These schemes specify type of jobs that can be solved, mainly incompressible and subsonic compressible flows. This paper deals with the implementation of coupled scheme with AUSM+-up flux that allows solving fluid problems in all speed regimes. This scheme is complemented by the Implicit Residual Smoothing (IRS), which extends the region of stability. Therefore an increase in the speed of convergence is observed. Acceleration by factor 6 was achieved.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_1.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>7</pageFrom><pageTo>14</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-001</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Vojtěch</name><surname>Běták</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Jiří</name><surname>Fürst</surname><order>2</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article><article externalId="ACC_9812"><type>ORIGINAL_ARTICLE</type><languageVersion externalId="en9812" language="en"><title>Polymer films based on cellulose containing silver nanoparticles and vitamin C</title>
The preparation of films containing silver nanoparticles and vitamin C in the polymer matrix is presented in this work. Such films are capable of absorbing excessive amounts of water. In this case, -COOH groups in the CMC and ascorbic acid function as the reducing agents. The films prepared with silver nanoparticles and vitamins C are investigated by using the scanning electron microscope. Samples are also evaluated for their antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. The findings of this work point out that the fuzzy linear programming attains the best solution of cotton mix in comparison with its classical version as well as the existing method followed in cotton spinning industry.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_3.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>24</pageFrom><pageTo>29</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-003</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Subhasis</name><surname>Das</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Anindya</name><surname>Ghosh</surname><order>2</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article><article externalId="ACC_9814"><type>ORIGINAL_ARTICLE</type><languageVersion externalId="en9814" language="en"><title>The influence of plasma pretreatment on the structure and antimicrobial properties of knitted fabrics treated with herbal extracts</title>
In this paper we examined the effect of plasma pretreatment on the structure and antimicrobial properties of knitted fabrics (100% cotton, 100% bamboo and 50% cotton/50% bamboo) treated with alcoholic herbal extracts of Achillea millefolium L. and Reynoutria japonica Houtt. The influence of water vapour plasma pretreatment on the surface functionalization or change of the structure of the knitted fabrics is evaluated with SEM. Antimicrobial properties of knitted fabrics treated with herbal extracts were tested on Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans by using the parallel streaking method (AATCC TM 147-2004). The degree of coloration was evaluated with CIELAB method and with stereomicroscope. It was found that the plasma pretreatment and processing with the herbal extract of Reynoutria japonica Houtt. had a positive impact on the antimicrobial activity of the knitted fabrics against Staphylococcus aureus.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_4.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>30</pageFrom><pageTo>42</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-004</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Dragana</name><surname>Grujić</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Aleksandar</name><surname>Savić</surname><order>2</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Ljiljana</name><surname>Topalić-Trivunović</surname><order>3</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Simona</name><surname>Jevšnik</surname><order>4</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Tatjana</name><surname>Rijavec</surname><order>5</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Marija</name><surname>Gorjanc</surname><order>6</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article><article externalId="ACC_9815"><type>ORIGINAL_ARTICLE</type><languageVersion externalId="en9815" language="en"><title>Aeroelastic experiments with measurement of the kinematic properties based on optical methods</title>
A credible aeroelastic experiment deals with variables important for the description of dynamics of aeroelastic phenomena. These variables include, in particular, position, velocity, acceleration and the acting forces. This paper describes the measurement of kinematic properties based on an optical method, where the optical target is captured with a high frequency camera. Based on the evaluated position, there have been derived velocity and acceleration. The acceleration has been compared with the data measured with the accelerometer. A great advantage of the presented approach is the minimal influence of the measured system over the sensors and the possibility of redundant measurement as well. The contribution of the redundant measurement has been confirmed during an experiment performed on an aeroelastic experimental stand with the profile NACA 0012.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_5.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>43</pageFrom><pageTo>53</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-005</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Štěpán</name><surname>Chládek</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Igor</name><surname>Zolotarev</surname><order>2</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article><article externalId="ACC_9816"><type>ORIGINAL_ARTICLE</type><languageVersion externalId="en9816" language="en"><title>Characterisation of water vapour transmission behaviour of woven fabrics</title>
The study investigates the dynamic water vapour transmission behaviour of woven fabrics and its correlation with the steady state behaviour. An indigenously fabricated instrument was used for testing the dynamic behaviour, while the standard cup method was used for testing the steady state behaviour. Woven fabrics made of ring spun yarns and having blends of 100% cotton, cotton/bamboo, cotton/polyester and polyester/bamboo at different blend percentages were prepared. Fabrics samples were prepared under each blend at two and three different levels of warp and weft densities respectively. Dynamic response variables of ‘slope,’ ‘time’ and dynamic WVTR were calculated from the plots of partial vapour pressure versus time obtained from the dynamic study of each fabric sample.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_6.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>54</pageFrom><pageTo>62</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-006</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>R. The hexapod consists of a rigid base plate, movable platform and six linear hydraulic motors, which are joined to the base plate and the movable platform by ball joints. In the first part of the article hexapod kinematics is resolved by using matrix methods of investigation of spatial multibody systems. The hexapod is used for the laboratory vibration excitation equivalent to the vibration measured with accelerometers in the real part operation. The second part of the article describes the synthesis of the control signal from the values measured by accelerometers. The computation routines of the synthesis are programmed in Maple interface.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_7.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>63</pageFrom><pageTo>69</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-007</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Vojtěch</name><surname>Klouček</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article><article externalId="ACC_9818"><type>ORIGINAL_ARTICLE</type><languageVersion externalId="en9818" language="en"><title>Changes in the antioxidant activity of polyphenols from grape pomace after interaction with UV radiation</title>
The aim of the study was to determine changes in the content of polyphenols and their antioxidant activity after interaction with UV radiation. An aqueous extract of grape pomace was used as a source of the tested polyphenols. Due to the differences between coloured monomeric anthocyanins and polymeric condensed tannins extracts from the skins and seeds were tested separately. It was shown that despite the light instability of coloured anthocyanins, a high content of total polyphenols remained in these solutions, and also their ability to destroy free radicals remained high even after 24 hours of their exposure to UV radiation.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_8.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>70</pageFrom><pageTo>76</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-008</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Hana</name><surname>Křížová</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article><article externalId="ACC_9820"><type>ORIGINAL_ARTICLE</type><languageVersion externalId="en9820" language="en"><title>Produced nanofibers and technological possibilities of laboratory apparatus 4SPIN®</title>
The 4SPIN® desktop laboratory device has been developed for the deposition of nanomaterials dedicated not only to medical applications, but also to other fields such as nanoelectronics, optics, filtration, etc. The apparatus integrates various methods to enable the preparation of nanostructured materials according to researching demands. Nine principally different emitters (most of them are usable in the method called electroblowing) and six different collectors enable researchers to perform various types of experiments. This allowed nanofibrous materials with different microscopic and macroscopic structures to be successfully prepared. The 4SPIN® laboratory device was developed at Contipro Biotech Ltd. and seven principles used were patented. The device has been certified for electrical safety by the CE mark and has been marketed since January 2013.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_9.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>77</pageFrom><pageTo>80</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-009</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Marek</name><surname>Pokorný</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Jiří</name><surname>Řebíček</surname><order>2</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Jindřich</name><surname>Novák</surname><order>3</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Adéla</name><surname>Kotzianová</surname><order>4</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Jan</name><surname>Klemeš</surname><order>5</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Jana</name><surname>Růžičkova</surname><order>6</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author><author><name>Vladimír</name><surname>Velebný</surname><order>7</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article><article externalId="ACC_9822"><type>ORIGINAL_ARTICLE</type><languageVersion externalId="en9822" language="en"><title>Occurrence of vibration under changing spindle speed during CNC milling</title>
Vibrations are an inseparable effect occurring during the operation of every technical device. Especially because of this the measurement was focused on examining vibrations on the milling cutter. During the measurement the rotation speed of the milling cutter was changing as well as the two types of milling tools, with which the examined material steel 1.1213 was process, with material removal of 2.7 mm set in advance. The waveforms of technological head vibration acceleration amplitude and their frequency spectra are evaluated. Based on measured values, two graphical dependencies were created and subsequently compared with the allowed vibration value on class of the milling machines. New knowledge and conclusions are drawn based on measured results.
<pdfFileUrl>https://acc-ern.tul.cz/archiv/PDF/ACC_2015_1_10.pdf</pdfFileUrl><publicationDate>2015-06-30</publicationDate><pageFrom>81</pageFrom><pageTo>89</pageTo><doi>10.15240/tul/004/2015-1-010</doi></languageVersion><authors><author><name>Štefánia</name><surname>Salokyová</surname><order>1</order><instituteAffiliation/><role>AUTHOR</role></author></authors><references/></article></issue></ici-import>
