EUROREGION NEISSE PRIZE 2025
On September 26, 2025, in the unique setting of the Zdrojowy Theater of Animation in Jelenia Góra, a gala ceremony was held for the Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion Award competition. Since 2008, this event has honored the most valuable international partnerships and individuals who, through their commitment, build bridges between Poland, the Czech Republic, and Saxony.
During this year's ceremony, projects and individuals who have made a special contribution to the development of cross-border cooperation were honored. The Euroregion Academic Coordination Center (ACC) Award was also presented, emphasizing the importance of scientific and educational initiatives in the process of regional integration.
A special moment of the gala was the awarding of the prize in the category “Personality for commitment to the Euroregion” to Piotr Roman, long-time President and currently Vice-President of the Nysa Euroregion. From 2007 to June 2024, he served continuously as President, becoming one of the most prominent ambassadors of cross-border cooperation.
This year's gala was not only an opportunity to honor exceptional individuals and projects, but also a symbolic confirmation that cross-border cooperation in the heart of Central Europe is a lasting foundation for development and mutual understanding.
